I first met Joe at CHS in 1972. Surfing, rock music, tubing the river, double dating, the list is endless. The thing I miss most about Joe is the sound of his voice, the goofy laugh and the kindess, love and understanding a true friend brings you . . . it will be 5 years this November that Joe died. I know he's looking down from Heaven with that goofy grin on his face saying "Life Is Good"! Ralph & I miss you more with each passing year.

I remember Joe also as that Surfer Boy of the 70's! He lived several houses down from me and was always on the go. I'm sure he lived his life to the fullest that he could. He'll be missed at the reunion.

I remember Joe also from our elementary school, Loloma, and he lived one street over from me. I was shocked to hear of his passing because he was always so athletic. I use to call him "Surfer Joe", from the old 1960's song because he was the only guy in Arizona that I knew that would go surfing. I mean who the hell surfs in Arizona back at those days. He was down at BIG SURF all the time. I believe that there is a picture of him surfing in one of our yearbooks. He loved the water, and was a swimmer and diver I believe. Great guy taken too soon.
